“ I had a wonderful dining experience dining Stella on New Year's Eve. They were super accommodating with my vegan and gluten-free dietary restrictions and the meals were delicious. My favorite was the truffle pasta! The drinks they served that night were exceptional! I highly recommend Stella for anyone seeking great service and inclusive menu options! ”
“ I’d been hearing about Stella from many people so I had to go and see what it’s all about. Here’s a quick rundown: - Atmosphere: very elegant and chique restaurant with intimate cozy tables on the main floor and a very large second floor below. Great mood lighting and definitely busy. High end crowd and great place to people watch too - Food: The few dishes we tried were amazing! Highly recommend the burrata and caviar to start with the fried olive dish. The mortadella pizza was to die for. The steak was great too, but I’ve definitely had better. Now dessert was interesting. They have this pistachio cake (must have) the icing is made fresh to order and it’s quite large, definitely shareable. I wasn’t a huge fan of the tiramisu but I was warned that it would have saffron flavor to it...and although I love saffron, it was a bit too much. Service: only reason I have 4/5 here was that the server seemed very busy and didn’t check in as much as I would’ve expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Otherwise he did. Great job with his recommendations. Highly recommend and will be back. ”
“ Incredible food. If my memory serves me, we had the mozzarella anchovy & lemon dish, the Sea Bream, a red sauce pasta with basil & mozzarella, and a very simple but perfect salad of greens. Wish I could remember names but everything on the menu looks fantastic. Our server was so sweet, he helped us figure out wines and our entire order. Atmosphere wad very welcoming, upscale, and classic. My new favorite restaurant in LA! ”
“ I live close by so I have been tracking Stella since it opened. It’s a high-end Italian restaurant specializing in Northern Italian food located in southern Beverly Hills. Every review that I’ve seen for it has been really solid so I have been really looking forward to trying it and finally got my chance this MLK Jr holiday weekend. They offer valet parking but honestly, it’s really easy to find street parking in this part of town, which we were able to do about a half block away. Inside is beautiful and very dark and very moody. It’s the great sort of place to bring a date or someone you want to impress. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered arrived fairly quickly. The only downside is that it is expensive so I would suggest it more for a celebratory dinner if you are on a budget. The menu is filled with a lot of great options, so it was very hard to choose what we wanted to order for our first visit. We decided to start off with the Burrata and Black Truffles and thought it was wonderful. It came with a lot of silky, smooth burrata and was covered in truffles so the flavor combination was truly great. Next step came the Bison Tartare and this was wonderful. The bison was very lean but rich in flavor and honestly this was a real hit at the table. The egg yolk mixed in really added to the flavors and I already want to order it again. Finally for my entree I ordered the Su Filindeu because the menu mentioned it was the world‘s rarest pasta and honestly anything in a bone broth is great to me. This dish was kind of weird but honestly delicious. The lamb inside the broth was extremely tender and juicy and really added to the flavors and it’s very rare that I can try a pasta dish for my first time given that I am Italian and have tried pretty much every type of pasta out there so I was very pleased to try this new dish and really enjoyed it. Overall a fantastic Italian restaurant in a beautiful part of Los Angeles. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great dinner location or to anyone that wants to have a memorable meal in Sunny LA. ”
“ The food was soooo delicious and the service (shoutout to Evan) was fantastic! We were celebrating a birthday and the team made it very special. Highly recommend the gnocchi, burrata and the tiramisu. Can’t wait to visit again! Love the exposed kitchen vibe, too. ”
“ The pizza and pasta were delicious. The fish was ok, and the desserts were the same. But its definitely worth coming for their pizza, which is thin and airy. The cacio & pepe was delicious. Great ambient. They have two floors with two bars in a beautiful setting ”
“ We had an absolutely amazing Valentine's dinner at this beautiful restaurant, located in a charming and scenic spot. We started with their Valentine’s special drinks—I had a unique variation of a Negroni, which was more delicate than the traditional version, yet still full of depth and flavor. Then, we tried the world’s rarest pasta, su filindeu, which was simply exquisite, melting in our mouths with every bite. Next, we had their pizza, which was also delicious, featuring an intriguing topping of marinated pear with a subtle wasabi-like taste—an unexpected but delightful twist. To finish, the dessert was a true masterpiece: an exquisite, hazelnut-shaped creation filled with silky cream. It was both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. Every dish was crafted with care and creativity, making this a truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for a special night out! ”
“ Stella is a high-end Italian restaurant that combines impeccable service with equally impeccable cuisine, creating the perfect dining experience. As a party of nine, we were escorted to the downstairs dining area, where the ambiance was warm, inviting, and uniquely vibrant. The setting was elevated by our view of the open kitchen and pasta-rolling station which gave us a front-row experience of the action. We began our evening with drinks and appetizers, and I’ll dive into a detailed review of each dish we tried: We started with the Branzino Carpaccio and the Wagyu Tartare. The Branzino, prepared table-side, was a visual treat as much as it was a delight to enjoy. The fish itself was smooth with a fresh, delicate flavor that offered surprising depth, especially for someone accustomed to enjoying Branzino cooked. However, I was thrown off by the texture, as it required a little bit of chewing. Nonetheless, great starter. The Wagyu Tartare stole the spotlight. The tender, rich beef was perfectly complemented by the garnishes and a sauce that balanced the dish beautifully. The addition of white anchovy and caper leaves was perfectly restrained, making it a great compliment without overpowering the meat. We enjoyed it so much that we were tempted to order another plate. For our mains, we ordered four pastas, three pizzas, and the signature 400 steak of the night. Every pasta dish was perfectly al dente, showcasing bold, intricate flavors that highlighted the artistry of the kitchen. My personal favorite was the Butternut Squash Tortelli. This dish stood out for its very sweet profile—a departure from the savory norm. The filling was velvety and rich, while the sauce added a nice layer of sweetness, striking a balance that felt both indulgent and unique. The pizzas were equally outstanding. We ordered the Margherita, Soppressata, and Funghi. All were excellent, but the Soppressata and Funghi were true standouts. The Soppressata delivered a delightful kick with its salty, spicy toppings, while the Funghi offered lots of depth with its bold flavors of gorgonzola cheese. The steak was amazing. Cooked to perfection, a butter knife glided through it effortlessly. It melted in our mouths, showcasing the quality of the cut and the skill in its preparation. Unlike other steakhouses that rely on excess butter or heavy seasoning, this steak let the natural flavors shine, only supplemented with a hint of freshly grated salt. To end the meal on a sweet note, we ordered a selection of gelatos. The gelatos were refreshing and light, though a tad bit underwhelming. Whether there was too much syrup or if it was simply the gelato itself, we had some doubts about this one. The gelato unfortunately lacked the depth I was looking for, and it was hard to actually taste the gelato itself with the excess amounts of syrup on top. However, it didn’t take away from the rest of our dining experience. Additionally, since we were celebrating a birthday, it was made up by our server who surprised us with a special cake—a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience. Our server was phenomenal throughout the evening—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our night special. Overall, Stella sets the standard for fine Italian dining. The blend of exquisite food, engaging ambiance, and top-tier service makes it a restaurant I would gladly return to. ”
